The Private Property Sale Manual
On this page you will learn exactly what you have to do
before and after the private sale of your property.

Prepare the property for sale (for preparation tips click here).

Upload your ad to Property Easy and put up a "For Private Sale" sign provided with your choice of telephone number by Property Easy included in the price of the advertising.

Once you have found a buyer you have to reach an agreed price.

The parties will exchange names and addresses and solicitor details if applicable ( to download a Buyers Agreement Form click here, print 2 copies for both parties)

Contact your solicitor. The solicitor has all the necesary documents for the sale and will execute all the searches (property search, ownership search, easement search and everything relevant to the sale)

The solicitor will proceed with the preparation of contract for signing and deposits paid

Once the sale becomes unconditional (all searches done, finance approved, building & pest control done in the specified time) both parties will be contacted by their solicitor and the seller can proceed to put a "SOLD" sticker on the sign provided.
